In 1996, Espolon's Founder Cirilo Oropeza began building Espolòn’s home – Casa San Nicolas (NOM-1440) in Los Altos de Jalisco. Situated at a high altitude, an indication of the heights to which he sought to elevate Tequila, Casa San Nicolas became a workshop where art and science exist in harmony, and where inspiration is easy to come by.
