Chase was founded in 2008 by William Chase, the Herefordshire farmer and entrepreneur best known for creating Tyrrells crisps. After building Tyrrells around potatoes grown on his farm, Chase moved into spirits with the idea of making vodka from the same crop, establishing Chase Distillery at Rosemaund Farm in Herefordshire.
