The best-known expressions are Banks 5 Island and Banks 7 Island, using aged and unaged rums from origins including Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados, Java, Panama and Guatemala, depending on the blend. Bacardi acquired Banks in 2015, adding it to a wider rum portfolio that already included Bacardí itself. The style is dry, layered and cocktail-focused, with pot and column still components bringing fruit, spice, molasses depth and Batavia arrack character.
