Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with a warm copper-gold core and a mahogany-bronze edge. A glossy, wine-kissed glow hints at sherry influence and 19 years maturing in cask.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and iodine rise with lush sherry sweetness. Smoky, coastal notes mingle with dried fig and plum, cocoa nibs, vanilla and toasted oak, all wrapped in a briny depth that lingers like sea air in a timeless old cellar.
Palate
Peat and sea-salt smoke weave through a lush Moscatel-fruited sweetness. Raisin, fig and orange zest mingle with vanilla and dark chocolate, as a touch of brine and ash keeps the finish precise and long.
Finish
Long, warming finish with smoky peat and a pronounced sherry sweetness. Dark chocolate, prune and fig unfold on the palate while a whisper of coastal salt lingers, delivering a velvety, resinous warmth that stays long after the sip.
