Armorik

Although the whisky is bottled under the Armorik label this is actually made at the Warenghem distillery on a site near the outskirts of Lannion, Brittany in northern France. Founded in 1900 but the first whisky did not appear until 1987 and was the first single malt whisky distilled in France. A range of single malts under the Armorik label have been released with ex -bourbon, sherry and French oak casks all being used for the core range as well as a Sauternes (sweet pudding wine from Bordeaux) cask limited edition. They also have a range of blends under the WB (Whisky Breton) Galleg and Breizh brands.
