Product Description
Featured in the 1001 whiskies you must try before you die book
A fantastic dram from Ireland that has been matured in ex-port casks after traditional ageing in ex-Bourbon casks.
Nose: Red cherry, violets, hazelnut puree, bakewell tart, oaked chardonnay wine notes, buttery shortbread, dried red berries.
Palate: Lots of red berries, toasted marshmallow, tawny port or rose wine notes, homemade cherry jam, toasted walnuts, praline.
Finish: Nutty nougart, dried red berries, rose turkish delight, creamy oak, frangipane, topic bars.
A red berry festival of a malt with lovely creamy oak and spiced rose wine notes, a lovely summery whisky from the Cooley's distillery.
