Only 249 bottles released form a single cask.
Natural Colour and non chill filtered and bottled at 60% ABV.
Nose: White chocolate chip cookies, pear frangipane, malted milk biscuits, fresh barley, apple blossom, touch of white pepper and vanillin oak with lemon icing.
Palate: A big vanilla oak and custard over apple pie delivery with white pepper mellowing into ripe pears, lemon bon bons and cake sponge.
Finish: Lime marmalade, vanilla sponge cake, green apples and pears, custard cream biscuits, lasting peppery oak and fragrant spices.
A very fresh, delicate and complex nose does not prepare you for the big and bold explosion of the palate, takes water well and opens up into a summery sponge cake in an English barley field of a whisky.
