Tormore

(Tor-More)

A showpiece distillery established in 1958 and now a B listed structure of historical interest and even boasts a unique clock, which plays a different Scottish tune each 15 minutes. Part of the Pernod Ricard group with most of the malt used for the Ballantine’s, long John and Cream of the Barley blends. There was a 12 year old official bottle but now delisted and replaced by 14 and 16 year olds which are classic house Tormore style, being soft and creamy with notes of honey and  vanilla sponge cake.
