Distilled at the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay during the old ownership days of Invergordon Distillers who were then acquired by Whyte & Mackay in 1993 who mothballed the distillery two years later in 1995.Made with water from the Octomore spring and long before the Bruichladdich distillery was producing the likes of Port Charlotte and under the Lochinddal label, peated but with a lighter and cleaner style that is typical of Islay.
