Jura

(isle-o’-JEW-ra)

Jura is Norse for “deer island” and on the Hebridean island of Jura the red deer outnumber the human residents by about thirty to one. The distillery use lightly-peated malt which produces a light whisky with an almost oily taste to it.

Jura draws their water from the Bhaile Mhargaidh Spring which produces crystal clear water. Jura whisky is available in a variety of single malts and vatted malts and Jura Superstition is a personal favourite amongst the staff here at Hard To Find Whisky.
