Our third listing from Italy's first ever whisky distillery based in the northern South Tyrol region of the country.
Only 3000 bottles were released of this 4 year old aged in Pinot Nero Red wine casks (a local varietal in this cool climate area)
Natural colour and non chill filtered
Nose: Red bubblegum, salted pink wafers, blood orange, red liquorice, palma violets, black grape must, subtle earthy-crunchy red berry notes, wet woodland and pomegranate.
Palate: Red liquorice, plum jam, sloe berries, touches of cherry nougart and marzipan, crunchy tannins, redcurrant and cranberry, hints of fresh herbs and anise.
Finish: Red berries, bramble jelly, red liquorice, crunchy tannins, stewed plums and damsons, finishing dry and herbal, peppery oak and even a hint of rose turkish delight.
