Triple distilled blend from the home of Jameson's, The Midleton distillery near Cork in the Republic Of Ireland. Aged in small ex-Bourbon casks and named in honour of James Power who established the original John's Lane distillery near the western gate of Dublin in 1791.
Nose: Cocoa powder, aromatic spices (cinnamon & toated vanilla pods) homemade rum and raisin fudge, honeycomb, creme brulee.
Palate: Big juicy grape and buttery grain and classic pot still character that is so inviting with aromatic spices, chocolate, butterscotch, menthol, custard and lots of vanillin oak.
Finish: More spice (think french toast) juicy grape, toasted vanilla, raisins soaked in Bourbon, chocolate truffles.
