Official Tasting Notes
Nose - Fragrant green melon and freshly-cut hay are enveloped by the freshness of barley and apple-and-blackcurrant cordial. A slight scent of butterscotch sauce trails after.
Palate - Barley sugars and under-ripe pears contribute sweetness, while vegetal notes of nettle soup and celeriac appear behind. The appearance of apple on the palate is that of a red, crunchy Gala. Salt-and-pepper Kettle chips add a small kick.
Finish - Slightly syrupy, with a helping of fig yoghurt. Spicy and vegetal notes reappear, with chili black-bean sauce and bay leaves resting on.
