"Orange and fruit sherbet. Not as sweet on the palate as the nose suggests, but still lots of marzipan and dark chocolate. The medium finish ends in caramel."
94.5 points Jim Murray's Whisky Bible
"Sublime malt:one of the most glittering gems in the Diageo crown"
Nose: Green orchard fruits, oily citrus, nutty white nougart, herbal notes, almond oil, orange curd, marzipan, bon bons or wine gums.
Palate: Clean and fresh with lots of lemon and barley, some peppery vanilla, ginger, grassy/herbal notes and almond nougart.
Finish: Firm and long with spicy ginger, marzipan, lemon bon bons, dried red apple, orange blossom, herbal barley sweets and a touch of anise.
Impressive and vibrant Speyside from the "Flora and Fauna" range of releases and the only core official bottle available from this distillery that deserves to be more widely loved.
