This is the 2nd batch of Single cask whiskies from the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, cask strength and natural colour with a focus on some high quality but lesser known distilleries.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose Fruity, floral and very aromatic. Tropical fruit notes - pineapple and Pink Lady apples, with pear drops and Hubba Bubba.
Taste Warm spices, corn flakes, honey, vanilla, and a touch of oak.
Finish Light oily texture.
A genuine mystery malt – sometimes a cask’s provenance is known, but not permitted to be disclosed, but in this case, we genuinely don’t know where the whisky was distilled – only that it is a single malt, from a Speyside distillery. This is Classic Speyside. A predominantly fruity and floral dram, with touches of oak & spice. Gentle, delicate, almost fragile, and quite charming
