Product Description
This limited edition hand bottled and individually numbered Glenmorangie has been matured in American Missouri virgin oakfor 11 years.
From a 1991 distillation and bottled in 2002 at natural cask strength of 55.7% ABV.
Only 1000 bottles released of this experimental Glenmorangie from the master distiller Dr Bill Lumsden.
Nose: Chocolate truffles, spicy vanilla pods, coconut, black cherry, orange fondant, butterscotch, charred and toasted oak.
Palate: Big spicy oak delivery with black cherry, buttery popcorn, creme brulee tops, charred vanilla pods, dark orange and peach juice, aromatic spices and coconut fudge.
Finish: Rum truffles, black cherry compote, dark chocolate, marzipan and lingering toasted vanilla and aromatic spices.
A big truffle mouthfull of a Glenmorangie that borders on being a Highland Bourbon style malt.
