Product Description
A very rare Glenmorangie 25 year old finished in Malaga casks for its final year of maturation. Malaga is a sweet fortified wine from strangely enough Malaga in Spain and made from PX and Moscatel grapes.
Nose: Stewed red fruit, peppery berries, plum jam, waxy, cordial like notes, pannatone with glace cherry, grapey and oaky anise.
Palate: Grapey, waxy orange, chocolate, red berries, spicy sultana & raisin, cinnamon toast, polished oak.
Finish: Rich and grapey with waxy mixed peel, dried fruit, spiced plums, cinnamon, chocolate orange and raisin.
Very mellow and after dinner single malt that is almost cognac like in its moutfeel and dried fruit like quality.
