Product Description

One of the original set of Family cask releases from the Glenfarclas range of rare and old single cask releases that go all the way back to whisky distilled in 1952 and first released in 2007.

A 1975 distillation bottled 28/2/2007 at 31 years of age.

Aged in a Refill Hogshead and only 187 bottles released from cask #5038.

The colour is a beautiful rich amber, more akin to the colour you would expect from a first-fill cask.

The nose is a tantalising mix of honey, sweet fruits and ripe melon-a fresh whisky with lots to offer.

On initial tasting, this big, powerful whisky is rich in sherry with some bitter orange flavours at the back of the mouth.

This finish is definiitely buttery, like butterscotch dessert. A beautiful whisky that leaves a silky flavouring that coats your mouth and throat.
