A 5 year old Sour mash from a Tennessee distillery that we believe to be George Dickel? but would equally be enjoyed by fans of its more famous rival.
Non Chill filtered and natural colour and bottled at 59.7% ABV or 119.4 proof.
Only 115 bottles released from a single cask of New American oak.
Nose: Toffee popcorn, charred oak, chocolate, cherry menthol and toasted waffles.
Palate: Hot caramel or butterscotch sauce over vanilla ice cream on toasted waffles, corn syrup, black cherry jam, dark chocolate and spicy charred oak.
Finish: Sweet and syrupy with cherry menthol, chocolate chip cookies and spicy oak.
Classic Tennessee sour mash and if you are a fan of Jack Daniels and want to try something different without travelling too far away then give this a go, cask strength JD almost!
