Product Description
The Dalmore King Alexander III Single Malt Whisky is incredibly unique in the fact that it is matured in a mixture of 6 different casks. The casks used are: Bourbon, Sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Cabernet Sauvignon and Port Barrels. Some of the whisky used in this Dalmore Single Malt is around 19 years old.
Nose: Malt loaf, red berry nougart, dried black cherry, dark chocolate, dark honey, marmalade on brown toast, toasted vanilla, pineapple, cocoa powder, aromatic spice and oak.
Palate: Sherry soaked figs and dates, very malty and sweet with notes of red berries (eton mess) chocolate/orange, kirsch, toasted almonds, dark honey, blood orange.
Finish: Chocolate, malt loaf, toasted oak, aromatic spices, red berries, sticky figs, waxy orange, muscat grapes, praline, woody tannins.
A mellow and malty mouthfull of a Dalmore with all six different cask elements demanding your attention.
