Benrinnes distillery in Speyside main claim to fame is that you go past it on the way to its more famous neighbour, Macallan and recognisable by its large red chimney!
Nose: White flowers, bounty bars/coconut fudge, macaroons, vanilla wafers, cookie dough, milky cereal and sparkling perry.
Palate: Toasted oats, honey nut cereal, sugared almonds, floral and herbal notes, white chocolate, milk pudding, coffee cream and praline.
Finish: Walnut whips, toasted almonds, milky-vanilla-mocha combination finishing on creamy oak and floral spice.
A creamy and easy going Speysider that has a homemade baked goods feel to it.
