Product Description
The first edition of cask strength Machrie Moor (the peated range of Arran) bottled at 58.4% ABV with PPM levels of 20.
Only 6000 bottles released and named after the mysterious peat bogs on the Island of Arran.
Nose: Delicate and fresh coastal peat smoke, citrus, lemon rind, charred pineapple, bitter chocolate and cookie dough.
Palate: Savoury oatmeal, smoked cream cheese, salty limes, vanilla fudge and fresh grassy spice.
Finish: Lots of spice, citrus and fresh coastal grassy bonfire smoke.
A very easy drinking cask strength whisky (or maybe i am just so used to high abv by now?) and another new addition to the ever growing core range of the reliably great Arran range of single malts.
