Our Tasting Notes:
Nose: Big whiff of vanilla fudge and orange fondant, creamy cake mix and freshly baked danish pastries or even the white chocolate Cannoli biscuits i had on holiday in Italy! Some charred oak and singed straw like notes and white flowers (sweet peas in a summer garden)
Palate: Lots of marzipan and sugared almonds to start, then more of that French patisserie shop (croissants and mille feuille) like baked goods. Orange blossom honey and baking spices creep in along with some peppery oak and green stewed fruit compote.
Finish: Butterscotch, marzipan, white chocolate bon bons, some fizzy sweet shop candy notes and vanillin oak. Some orange oil and late aromatic spice linger.
Afternnon tea in a French patisserie shop, a lovely fresh and creamy Ex-Bourbon cask influenced Aberfeldy.
