Product Description

A limited edition (only 2200 bottles) peated Tomatin named after the legend of the ghost dog that stalked the remote Highland village where the distillery is located.

Lightly peated to 15ppm with part maturation in Ex-heavily peated Islay casks from (well it is supposed to be a secret but lets just say you do not have to beg to know which one!) as well as refill Hogsheads and Sherry casks.

Nose: Smoked lemon rind, aromatic heather, salted chocolate, toasted marshmallows, almond milk heated on a bonfire.

Palate: Sooty & earthy sweet peat, shortbread, heather honey, spicy pineapple, white pepper, smoked marzipan and citrus.

Finish: Oily pineapple, waxy citrus rind, green fruit smoked over a bonfire, almond and  peppery spice.

A very well balanced peated malt from a 1988 distillation that was bottled at 28 years old in 2016 and bottled at an impressive 51.5% ABV
