Product Description

A big and bold single sherry cask Irish single malt from a secret distillery in the Republic of Ireland (if you ask us nicely we will tell you where exactly!)

Only 293 bottles available and bottled at natural cask strength 59.5% ABV

Nose: Baked banana with demorera sugar, fig jam, old fashioned ginger, sherry soaked raisins, rum and raisin chocolate, bread pudding, brandy butter, honey roasted nuts and some savoury notes (cold beef consomme?)

Palate: Big and chewy delivery with notes of treacle tart, echlefechan tarts, ginger cake, walnut, mocha, rum bhaba, leathery, meaty salami like nuances, peppery oak and cake spice.

Finish: Dry, savoury and long with peppery meat, nutty fruit cake, dried figs, treacle, mince pies with brandy butter, old jamaica ginger cake.

Not your usual drop of triple distilled light and fruity single malt you associate with Ireland but a much darker and rich Glendronach/Glenfarclas 105/Aberlour A'bunadh style of whisky here from...... you will just have to come in-store and ask!
