Ardmore
(ard-MORE)
Next to the River Bogie, in the countryside famous for Barley and Aberdeen Angus Beef resides the Ardmore distillery. Built in 1989 by Adam Teach for William Teach & Sons the distillery has been extended twice, once in 1955 and again in 1974.
The majority of whisky produced here is used for Teacher’s Highland Cream blended whisky. Unfortunately the Ardmore distillery does not have a visitors centre, however you can buy Ardmore single malt at the Glendronach distillery which is it’s sister distillery.
