Product Description

A pretty scarce in the UK bottle of Wheated Bourbon that won Double Gold at the San Francisco worlds spirits competition and the wheated mashbill recipe dates back to 1843 and pre-dates the Stitzel weller and pappy van winkle use of the same recipe and bottled at an impressive 100 proof.

Nose: Orange fondant, ripe mango and peach, rich cereal notes, corn pancakes with breakfast syrup, floral honey and delicate aromatic spice (vanilla & clove)

Palate: Buttery corn, spicy cereal backed up with aromatic orange, toffee, honeycomb, clove honey and charred vanillin oak and a touch of mint chocolate.

Finish: Lots of clove spice, orange curd on french toast, dusting of cinnamon and charred oak.

An affordable alternative to the Weller & van winkle style of Bourbon with plenty of classic wheated Bourbon notes for your buck!
