Product Description

The 3rd release in the Islay Barley series, this time the source is their own Rockside Farm.

Bottled at around 6 years old  from un-peated barley and aged in Ex Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels.

Nose: Lemongrass, salty cheesecake, biscuity malt, herbal notes, vanilla, fresh citrus and runny honey.

Palate: Creamy and well rounded delivery, lemon curd, crisp barley/cereal, toasted vanilla, subtle charred oak and spiced grist.

Finish: Fresh and oily citrus, lots of creamy cereal, smoked sugared almond, dried apricot and a touch of ginger.

A creamy curd like laddie, well rounded and the whisky equivalent of a coastal walk on barley harvest day.
